Church School classes at St. Paul's take place on Sundays during the 10 am worship service and are generally scheduled from September to the beginning of June. Children may participate starting at age 4 and through the middle school years. Children rejoin their families after the sermon and participate in the communion portion of the service. Our Church School uses progressive, multimedia curriculums from Augsburg Fortress. Our small classes and friendly teachers aim to help all children feel welcome and loved, while teaching basic Bible stories as well as prayers, Christian themes and service concepts.
If you have any questions, please call the church office and leave a message for Susan Fuller, Church School Director, and she will return your call.
Acolytes assist at worship, and the Acolyte program at St. Paul's is open to anyone between the ages of 8 and 18 who has a desire to be an important part of the service. Acolytes are divided between servers and torch bearers and generally participate in the service once or twice a month. The servers carry the cross and assist the priest at the altar with the bread and wine. The torch bearers also assist with the distribution of the offering plates. Acolytes have a longstanding position within the Anglican and Episcopal Churches. The tradition continues at St. Paul's. If you would like to know more about the program, please call the church office and leave a message for Greg Langford, who heads this program.
