The music program at St. Paul's thrives through its fine choir, which is composed of parish volunteers. Meeting weekly, the choir sings a variety of choral repertoire, ranging from the Renaissance to 21st century compositions. In addition to providing music leadership at the 10:00 am Sunday services from September through mid June, the choir also sings at the Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Advent Lessons and Carols, and Christmas Eve services. During the summer months, the choir practices informally so that it can provide music for the entire calendar year.
The choir welcomes new members! Prior musical training is not required! This is a fun group that has a sincere desire to offer everyone's singing ability in a choral setting in service to God.
Regular rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:30-9 pm, and on Sunday mornings for approximately 30-45 minutes before the 10 am service.
