St. Paul's adopted a garden plot at the Morris Plains Community Garden during the summer of 2016. The first year, St. Pauls was able to donate almost 1,000 pounds of fresh produce to the Interfaith Food Pantry. This year will mark the third year that parishioners have maintained the plots and each year the donations have greatly increased! In 2018 we donated almost 2,600 pounds of fresh produce to those less fortunate!
To date, we have planted carrots, spinach, beets, tomatoes and lettuce. Volunteerss are always needed to help with planting, weeding, watering, harvesting and delivering produce to the Interfaith Food Pantry.
If you would like additional information, please call the church office at (973) 285-0884. All are welcome!!!
