Worship at St. Paul's follows The Book of Common Prayer, other authorized liturgical materials, guest speakers, a broad musical tradition and the insights and participation of informed worshippers. All baptized Christians are invited to receive Communion.
Schedule of Services
Sundays starting after Labor Day weekend on September 8
8:00 am Holy Eucharist
10:am Holy Eucharist, Church School, Organ and Choir
Two Holy Eucharist services are held each Sunday morning in our beautiful sanctuary, both of which follow Rite II from The Book of Common Prayer. Our quieter, more contemplative 8 am service generally does not include music. The 10 am service features our pipe organ, hymns and choir music. Church School classes are provided during this later service, and this is the choice for most of our families with children. Children are always welcome to stay in the service with their parents.
Summer Mode (June 17 thru Labor Day weekend)
Saturday, 5:30 pm Holy Eucharist on the Lawn (followed by a pot-luck BBQ on the last Saturday of each month)
Sunday 10 am Holy Eucharist
We shift to our summer worship schedule with a consolidated Sunday worship service at 10 am. The Saturday evening service is an informal, "come as you are" service. It's shorter than a typical Sunday morning service, running about a half hour. Weather permitting, it is held on the front lawn; otherwise it is held in the church. On the last Saturday of the month, all are invited to stay for an impromptu "potluck" BBQ.
Following the 10 am service during the fall, winter and spring months, we gather for a coffee hour and fellowship in the Lounge.
